    just wondering how many times do u need to water thyme ? my thyme kept drooping at the side and turn brown.🥲. plus can i plant thyme in rocky medium with sand rocks , perlite so make it dry to prevent overwatering and well draining .if u have a guide pls help me .i wasted so much money buy many thyme plant ended up dead

    • @Liap
      @Liap 2 дні тому

      Hello. The watering frequency will depend on the containers size and other growing conditions (temperature, weather, soil type etc.). When it comes to thyme plants, the way I am doing it is I always let the soil dry completely. When the pot is "light as a feather" I water it. They will survive drought much easier than being overwatered. Yes You can use those to improve the drainage. Hope that helps 🙂🌱🍀

    • @Liap

    • @Liap

    • @Liap
      @Liap 4 дні тому

      Hello. I am pretty sure they will. But You will most likely want to grow them from January or later from August/September. They prefer temperatures between 24 and 35°C (75-95°F). They will most likely survive higher temperatures, but the chances are they will drop flowers if it gets too hot.

    How many days from germination before transplanting? How long does it take to be bitter? My romaine lettuce is already 2 months old and only has a few leaves with the biggest leaves only about 3 inches long. I'm afraid they will be bitter before the harvest time. 😂

    • @Liap
      @Liap 5 днів тому

      Hello. It depends on the growing conditions. The seedlings grow very slowly in cold weather. When they have 4-5 true leaves is about the right time to transplant them. What is the variety You are growing? They have bitter taste when grown in hot temperatures. Or when they bolt (which often happens in hot temperatures).
